-Fund-raising for charitable organizations are
allowed via approval from an administrator.
-If you post an
advertisement for another chat board, it will be removed.
-If you post a “cut and paste” from another
board it will be removed.
- Be courteous to other members.
Your opinions may not always be that of someone else’s, please make
sure to remain civil.
- Do not make inappropriate or offensive posts - including threats, harassment,
swearing, prejudice, slander or deliberate insults/name-calling, or other
negative remarks about highway278.com, its moderators and administrators, or
other members. Everyone has his or her own personal opinion and may express it
as long as it does no harm to others. This is grounds for being denied access.
- Swearing is not tolerated and has no place on an open forum.
-Highway278.com (Staff and Admin) have authority to make judgment calls on all
content that is posted here. Their decisions are final. Should you
have a problem with a decision that's been made, PM the person in question or
the administrator.
- Flaming for the sake of flaming is not tolerated.
Follow the golden rule: When posting, treat others, as you’d like to be
treated – don’t be insulting and don’t harass others.
EVERYONE who posts on this board is a real person, just like you.
You can disagree without flaming, set forth a different point of view
without attacking someone else personally.

-Questions or comments about board
operation that, in your own best judgment, should not be seen by the general
board should be kept to PM's. This also applies for other things as well; if you

When to Post and When to Use Email
-Use email rather than posting unless you think
you have something new to add to the public discussion that would be of interest

-Do not attempt to upload illegal content such as MP3's or other media so that
others can download it at another time, as the information will be promptly
removed.
-Any attempt to "hack" this site or any of this site’s members will
be promptly turned over to the FBI computer crimes division for evaluation and
further action if necessary.
-Do not threaten or harass any members of this site, as it falls under the
computer-stalking act.
Copyrights
-Please make sure that you do not post anything that violates another's
copyright. If you believe information or content on this site is in violation of
this policy please PM an admin about it and the content will be reviewed and
removed if necessary.
Instant Thread Killers
-A topic on a topic that is already running.
-A topic asking why a thread has been locked.
-A topic asking any moderator or member why they did a specific thing.
-A topic about a specific member.
-Any topic that contains more than 2 censor words.
-Creating the same topic in 2 + forums
-A topic complaining about board policy, moderators or other members on this
site.
-Any topic
that is inherently anti US. There are plenty of hate boards out there.
If you want to, go find them. You are not
allowed
to use Highway 278 Productions, Inc and highway278.com’s resources to spread
your "message".
-A topic bringing up a locked/closed topic.
-An advertisement for another board.
-A topic that creates drama on the board.
Moderators Post Editing
Forum leaders can, at their discretion modify or delete a members topic or posts
with or without notice to that member. All information contained on this site is
property of Highway 278 Productions, Inc., therefore if we feel that a post or
topic a member has posted violates our rules we have every right to take
whatever steps we feel are necessary to correct the situation. This includes
modifying or deleting at our discretion said post or topic. Any information that
is modified or deleted is not recoverable by the poster and the poster should
have no expectations that the information originally posted will be saved.
If a moderator removes or edits a post they may or may not leave a note saying
the topic was edited, in most cases they will but in the event that they don't
the user understands that he/she has no recourse against the site or the
moderator as this disclaimer clearly states that once information has been
posted to our site it becomes our property to do with as we please.
If you break
a rule on our site, most of the time you will be warned. After repeated
warnings, you will be banned. PERIOD. DRAMA for the sake of drama is zero
tolerance! You will be
permanently
denied
access.
Once a member is banned that decision cannot be
revoked, expect by a majority action of the administrators. If
someone is banned it means that person is banned - not just the screen name.
Please do not re-register under another screen name because that name will also be
banned upon discovery.
