We need your favorite "KID" recipes along with a short paragraph about yourself and why this is your favorite recipe. If you or someone you love has been touched by cancer, please feel free to tell your story and how your life has been touched.
You may also include a a picture of your self or someone you love for a $5 Donation, to accompany the story.
Sample: Michael Austin Vickers December 12, 1994 - April 1, 2007Tacos were one of Austin's Favorite meals to have at home. In fact, he cooked this meal for his family just 3 days before he died. Austin had acute lymphoplastic leukemia, which is cancer of the white blood cells. Austin loved to cook and was the inspiration for this cookbook. TACOSIngredients:1 1/2 Pounds of Ground Beef Old El Paso Taco Dinner Lettuce (make sure you don't get the cabbage) Grated Cheese Salsa Tomatoes (If you like them, which he didn't) Onion Directions:Put the Ground Beef in a frying pan and turn the heat on. Stir the beef around until it is brown. Drain the grease (ask a parent for some help with this) Open the taco dinner box. Open the taco shells and put in the oven according to the directions on the box. Open the taco seasoning and pour over the beef in the frying pan. Add the water according to the directions on the box. Stir until well heated. After you are finished with that, tear up some lettuce, cut up some tomatoes, and even if possible use a chopper to chop the onions. Now yo are ready to put it all in a shell and eat!!!!
